Must have 5-10 years experience as a pre-litigation paralegal working on personal injury cases. Fast paced environment, needs someone who can multi-task and complete work efficiently. Salary negotiable based on experience - bonuses offered in addition to base salary.

PRE-LITIGATION PARALEGAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Plaintiff firm seeking an experienced Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Paralegal. Must be able to handle a file from initial client meeting to negotiation of pre-suit settlement. Responsibilities include initial preparation of file, preparing demand letters, negotiating settlement of the claim, and negotiating medical bills and liens. Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and handle a heavy case load. Qualified candidate will have 5 plus years Florida experience. Client Profiles and Excel experience a plus, but not required

LITIGATION PARALEGAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Plaintiff firm seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal. Responsibilities include drafting complaints, propounding discovery, negotiating medical bills and liens, scheduling depositions, hearings and mediations. Must be able to handle a file from filing suit to trial and have working knowledge of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence. Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and handle a heavy case load. Client Profiles experience a plus, but not required.


PARALEGAL INTERN/ASSISTANT NEEDED
THIS JOB IS LOCATED AT THE PALM BEACH GARDENS OFFICE

This is part-time position - 30-35 hours per week at $10/hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following, as well as other duties which may be assigned by management, at Firm's sole discretion:

  • Working with and assisting attorneys and paralegals in providing legal services to clients, including legal research, client communications, writing, scheduling and related duties
  • Providing professional client service under the supervision of attorneys and paralegals
  • This position requires daily repetitive typing, sitting, moving files and/or storage boxes that may weigh up to 10-15 pounds
  • Performing assignments in cooperation with other firm employees, as required

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty/ responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below, are representative (but not exhaustive) of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

  • Enrolled in (or recently graduated from) a paralegal education program
  • Previous work experience
  • Punctual, dependable, and reliable
  • Professional management, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and with others
